Aloha and Welcome! This is my Free offering "Illuminating Jyotish: A deep intro to Vedic Astrology". True to its sub-title, this class goes surprisingly far into the foundations of Jyotish and will serve as an excellent introduction class for beginners, refresher class for those who are already learned in the subject, and grounding plate for those who have studied some but never really built the foundational blocks of a true understanding or practice.
Illuminating Jyotish: Deep Intro to Vedic Astrology
This Class covers the foundational principles of all Vedic thought; Dharma, Karma, the Gunas and offers a glimpse into the history as well as the difference to Western/Tropical astrology. We also go into the Planets, Houses, Chart Styles, Purusarthas (Aims) and the Caste and Elemental qualities of Signs. Each of these dense topics will be covered in much more detail and depth in singular classes on the subject but the idea is to give the student a solid basis from which to move forward from here.
